‘Bones’ season 11, episode 2 preview: Will Brennan find Booth, and in one piece?

Bones -On “Bones” this week, we saw a story that led directly to Booth’s disappearance; not only that, but also the revelation that his brother was dead. For a show that is at times lighthearted and even goofy, this was a very serious way to start things off in season 11.

There are still many other stories still to tell, with next week’s “The Brother in the Basement” being one that could get us a little bit closer to learning Booth’s whereabouts. Brennan is back in the Jeffersonian for one, and to along with that we’re going to have a chance to see what happens when Agent Miller starts to make some of her own knowledge a little bit clearer.

For more, take a look at the synopsis below:

“Another layer is added to the mystery of Booth’s whereabouts and the state of his physical condition when the team learns that FBI Agent Miller (guest star Kim Raver) has not been entirely truthful with the FBI and the Jeffersonian, keeping vital information from them that could lead them to Booth. Meanwhile, the Jeffersonian gets a surprise visitor, FBI digital forensic scientist Dr. Benjamin Metzger (guest star Josh Casaubon), who works with Angela to try to decode the information the team has been able to uncover regarding Booth’s location and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Also, Arastoo makes a major decision that affects his and Cam’s personal and professional relationship.”

Given that we are talking about a show here that is by most accounts a procedural, you do have to imagine that the expiration date for this story is coming up sooner rather than later. Plus, you have the “Sleepy Hollow” crossover event to look forward to.
