‘Faking It’ season 2, episode 15 preview: The escape from detention
We have already teased that in many ways Monday night’s new episode of “Faking It” on MTV is an homage to the classic movie “The Breakfast Club,” and if you are curious to get some other information proving just that, the sneak peek is really all you need and then some.
The theme of this preview is simple: An attempt to escape detention, which is being operated by none other than Felix’s father in his high position of authority. As it turns out, he is not an easy person to evade, so Felix has to really bite the metaphorical bullet to help Karma, Shane, and the rest of the gang out. Specifically, he brings up to his dad the fact that he is willing to talk with him about sex at almost any occasion if he has questions. It just so turns out that now is the time that he has all of them!
This scene produces a very funny moment, but in looking beyond that you do have to wonder just what sort of long-term implications are going to be here for the gang. What they are getting out to do is most-likely important to them, but if they end up getting in huge trouble as a result of their exploit here, we can only imagine this being all the more problematic for them as they start to get closer to the end of this season.
