Is ‘The X Factor’ UK new tonight on ITV?

X Factor -Sometimes, even we have trouble keeping up with the complicated airing schedules of British television.

For a time, we assumed that “The X Factor” was going to run new episodes both tonight and tomorrow on ITV, mostly because of one simple thing: This is the way in which the show operates week in and week out. However, there are clearly certain times where sports get in the way, and that is what is happening tonight.

There is no new episode airing on Saturday thanks to rugby, which is really going to dominate everything that the show has going on. Thanks to that, we are going to see a two-hour episode airing starting at 7:00 p.m. (check your listings, we’re going by London time here) on Sunday, and it will be followed by “Downton Abbey.”

In this show, you are going to see some of the remaining acts sing for their survival at bootcamp, and by the end of the night we will know who is advancing to the six-chair challenge. Also, we wonder whether or not the show will give us the official categories pairings to go along with it. While these have in many ways already been made clear publicly, the show has not acknowledged them on TV just yet. Nick Grimshaw has the boys, Rita Ora the girls, Simon Cowell the overs (again), and Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini the groups. The public helped to decide these, so if you don’t like them, that is who you can blame.
