‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 2 preview: What’s next for Ellen Pompeo, cast in ‘Walking Tall’

Ready to see some more of what is coming up on “Grey’s Anatomy” next week? When it comes to promoting this big episode, we’ve certainly seen some interesting decisions from ABC. For one, there is no synopsis out there for “Walking Tall” just yet, and after watching the premiere, it does not necessarily seem easy to figure out why.

After all, the only story that we would necessarily consider to be a surprise from the premiere is the promotion of Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) to Chief, and the promo below is all about how everyone is reacting to this move … with some of them not handling it well. Specifically, a few regulars are going to be clashing with her on a variety of different subjects, and she is going to be an authoritative figure.

While Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is not an enormous focus of the promo, we do imagine that she will be a top priority for almost the entire first half of the season given that she is going to be moving forward with her life and her career. During the premiere we saw her working to get along with Amelia and Maggie, while also at the same time beginning to teach a new class all about anatomy.

We’ll have some other news all about the episode in the near future, but the one thing that we will saw for now is expect entertainment, drama, and more of the same that you have come to expect from this show over the years.
