‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3 spoilers: More threats coming courtesy of Pandora

When we first got verification recently that the new character of Pandora was looking as though she was going to be playing for the bad guys on “Sleepy Hollow” season 3, one of the first things that we of course wondered was if we were going in the whole direction of Pandora’s Box and that mythology. When we first talked about it, we were doing so in the context of it almost as a joke. We did not seriously think that it was something that we were going to see on the show.

However, this series just continues to find a way to surprise us! This is what they are doing in the upcoming third episode of the season entitled “Blood and Fear,” and you can read the synopsis below for some generic details in terms of what to expect:

“Fear is rampant in Sleepy Hollow when Pandora releases an ancient artifact from her box that can transform an ordinary human into a terrifying figure from the past.”

So is it possible that this is someone who will continue to release various evil things throughout the third season? That’s at least something that we have to consider, and for the time being, we feel like we would be more than fine with that. Sometimes, it is nice to have a consistent threat for Ichabod and Abbie to take on, and a little bit of simplicity on this show goes a long way. If there was one prevailing criticism that people had over the second season, it is that the show became far too complicated.
