‘Big Brother 17’ finale: Becky Burgess on Vanessa, ‘Survivor’ hopes, and more in CBS backyard chat
Throughout the “Big Brother” game after the jury portion began, it felt like Becky Burgess was one of the few people who was starting to figure out just what Vanessa had going on when it comes to her game. She wanted her out, and she thought she had found a way to do it. Unfortunately for her, the voters decided to keep her instead over Shelli.
How does she feel about Steve’s win and much more? As we’re doing all night, we have some commentary all about that below via her finale interview with Big Jeff. Take a look and enjoy.
On the outcome – “Steve is a sweetheart. He’s similar to Ian Terry in that he had his social awkwardness, but he was a sweet boy. He was winning [competitions] … but Vanessa brought her A-game this season. You don’t get to see Vanessa win it, but Steve, awesome winner.”
On what’s next – “I’m ready to get out. Not talking to your family for that long is excruciating … I know I’m going to get one mouth out and I’m going to be like ‘can I go back now?’.”
On what she wants to do – “I want to get to the Rocky Mountains so bad! … I want a real tree that doesn’t get removed from the house at the end of the evening. I’m ready to be one with nature.”
On her “Survivor” dream – “I like athletic competitions and the outside, so I would love to check out ‘Survivor.’ So what is great about ‘Big Brother’ is the culture, the live feeds, the community. This is like no other show.
On her weakness this season – “One thing that for me from the beginning, my game was to lay low. However, during that time I should have been making better connections … I wanted to get right to jury and show up to play, but I didn’t have an army around me.”
