‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ results: Was Victor Espinoza or Gary Busey eliminated in 12th place?

Victor -Tonight marked the second “Dancing with the Stars” performance show of the week, and to go along with that, we also had the second straight round of results! Given that we had just thirteen performances a little over a night ago (that’s huge for a cast on this show), it feels right to be down to eleven after tonight … even if that means someone’s journey is ending.

Going into the results, we had our finger once again pointed at a small handful of people: Paula Deen, Gary Busey, Victor Espinoza, and Kim Zolciak. It is not often that we see such a divide between the stronger and weaker dancers in such a way, but it’s there.

Predictably, the two “in jeopardy” tonight were Victor and Gary, but they were not necessarily the two that had the lowest combined totals. When we first heard Gary’s name announced, we actually thought that he was done. Why would the show be so cruel as to put this pressure on him two weeks in a row?

Well, it didn’t happen. While Busey had the lowest score of the night for this show, he is safe for another week while Victor and Karina Smirnoff were eliminated. At least he can celebrate that he got his best score of the competition before leaving, right? We always knew that it would be hard for him on this show, mostly because he’s really known more for horses that he rides on than as a personality in his own right. Also, he just struggled with early routines. He was a nice guy, though, and we’ll miss that mission and inspiration.
