‘Twin Peaks’ spoilers: ‘Brothers & Sisters’ alum latest cast in mystery role

Earlier this weekend, we first found out the news about Amanda Seyfried joining the cast of “Twin Peaks” in a mystery role. If there is one thing that we have learned about the way that David Lynch and Mark Frost are conducting business right now, it is that they are keeping almost everything under wraps if they possibly can.

Now, that brings us to the mystery of Balthazar Getty. According to a new report from TVLine, the “Brothers & Sisters” alum has been cast for a role … and that’s all we can say. Heck, we cannot even tell you if it is a new role or one being recast; the site claims that there are rumors that one major part from the original show has been cast with a new actor, which shouldn’t be a surprise given that decades have passed since the original show aired.

“Twin Peaks” has spared production at the moment in the Pacific Northwest, and at the moment, all that we can say is that Lynch is directing every episode this season, and that he and Frost are the two behind laying out the entire story. As for the premiere date, we’re still waiting to see what it will be. We imagine that given the unknown number of episodes at the moment, we may be waiting for a while. We’re fine with that, provided that the show is everything that we have been hoping to see and then some.
