‘The Blacklist’ season 3 spoilers: New premiere photo features James Spader, Megan Boone!

As we get closer to the season 3 premiere of “The Blacklist,” the more we get excited about the story coming up for Liz and Red. These are two characters who really have run the emotional gamut since the start of the series. We’ve seen them work together to stop some of the world’s greatest criminals, and we’ve also seen them at odds in an extreme way.

Come October 1, we are going to see the two actually working together in a way that we haven’t seen them before: As fugitives from justice. The FBI is tracking down Liz, and the photo above is one of the new looks that we have of James Spader and Megan Boone’s characters doing their part to try to get away. Is the blonde hair really going to stop her from drawing suspicion? We’re starting to feel like Liz should have a suitcase full of about ten different wigs, and then pop them on with some other disguise everywhere she goes.

As for how long we are going to see these two characters really on the run, there is no timetable for it at the moment and we rather love that. We know that as a whole, season 3 is meant to be much more serialized than anything that came before it, though you should still expect to see Blacklisters in one form or another. As a matter of fact, one of them is going to be coming in the premiere.
