‘Masters of Sex’ season 3, episode 11 preview: One awkward dinner party

With just two episodes left before “Masters of Sex” is over for the summer, next week’s is going to be a particularly important episode. Not only is it hopefully going to revolve some of the larger stories in preparation for the finale, but we’re also getting one of the most awkward dinner parties that we’ve seen on the show to date.

As the promo below gives away, in addition to some recent casting notices, Judy Greer is playing the part of Dan Logan’s wife, and apparently someone thought it would be a splendid idea to get these two at a table with Bill Masters and Virginia Johnson. As though there was not enough tension between Dan and Bill in a room together, throwing in Dan’s wife alongside Virginia is the icing on top of the cake. It’s possible that things may only be good for a matter of minutes before they take a turn for the worse.

While not much else known about this particular storyline just yet, we can also tease that Libby is going to get a surprise visitor looking for Bill, and in turn, this could set up one of the other key stories moving towards our conclusion.

Is it possible that Dan sticks around until season 4? We guess that in theory the answer is yes, but for the time being all we know is that Josh Charles is going to be recurring on the show this season.
