‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Veto Ceremony speculation; the present plan

JohnWhile there have are only five people in the “Big Brother 17” house, there has been a lot of activity as of late when it comes to strategy.

If you missed it yesterday, it was revealed that Johnny Mac won the Veto at final five, and therefore Vanessa has to name someone as her replacement nominee (which she feels is some sort of mass conspiracy to force her into getting more blood on her hands). The Veto Ceremony is coming up shortly, but we can go ahead and tell you that barring a last second switch, Austin is going to go up on the block alongside Steve, with Liz and John being the two people to cast their votes.

At the moment, we get the feeling that Vanessa really wants to see John be the person to betray Steve on his way out the door, probably so that she could argue to him later than she never wanted to see him go home or something like that. Even though John has suggested that he is fine to cut Steve, we don’t actually think that he would and would force Vanessa to show her hand to everyone in the form of a tie vote. The biggest thing he can do to Vanessa is try to cost her a jury vote from Steve.

Also, there’s going to be some CBS product placement on at least one upcoming show, as “Life in Pieces” was apparently one of the sponsors for the recent Power of Veto Competition. This is no major shock or anything, given that we’ve seen many other shows be this sort of reward in the past. There is no better advertising for a show than getting houseguests to praise something when they have seen no other form of real entertainment in months. Almost anything will look great.
