‘Power’ season 3 spoilers: Jerry Ferrara to return; work begins

While there may not be a new episode of “Power” airing on Starz until we get around to next summer, we are still happy to say that we’ve got some other good news to report. You are going to see more of a certain attorney when the show returns!

According to a report from Variety, Jerry Ferrara (“Entourage”) has signed up to appear on both the third and potential fourth season of the Starz hit as Joe Proctor, who made a big impression on fans and was a key component in Ghost / Jamie’s life in particular at the end of the season when all of the carnage was really starting to rain down. Ghost (pictured) is in a difficult place in season 3 with potentially many people after his head, so he could need as many people in his corner as possible. Whether or not Joe is one of those people remains to be seen.

We should also add here that we say “potential fourth season” because, at least as far as we know, “Power” is only ordered for three seasons. Given the recent ratings, though, it feels almost inevitable it will be back.

For those wondering, season 3 is starting to get going right now! The show’s official Twitter was kind enough to share the image below of much of the cast and crew getting back at it. It hasn’t been that long since the series ended, but like with many other series on Starz, they like to film long in advance so that there is less bleeding over into when the show is actually on the air.
