‘Blue Bloods’ season 6 spoilers: A change for a big episode

Blue Bloods season 6For those of you who were interested in seeing “Blue Bloods” take on a very different sort of threat early on in the sixth season, they are going to do that now in the upcoming September 25 premiere.

Previously, it was reported that the first episode back was going to be one in which Danny and some of the team tracks down a serial killer. Based on what we are hearing right now, it appears as though the show is moving that episode back until October 2. It’s either that or it was always the plan and early press releases had it wrong.

Either way, the September 25 premiere is now going to be titled “Worst Case Scenario,” and the story will be all about taking on a significant threat to almost all of New York City:

“Frank goes on high alert when a threat to New York City may be imminent following a terrorist attack in the Middle East.”

We know that this is far from the most revealing synopsis in the world, but what else is there to say? This is a story that seems fitting for the premiere, since it will put the majority of the characters in a difficult position where they have to struggle to figure out how to stop this from happening. It could unify them, and we think that for the most part, this is really what you want coming into the season. It is always better to see people banded together working than trying to tackle it separately.
