‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 3 spoilers: Check out Bill Hader in new promo!

September 27 is going to mark the season 3 premiere of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” on Fox, and there is a lot to look forward to. Those of you who are romantics may enjoy getting to see what happens next in the relationship between Jake and Amy after they finally kissed (for real) in the closing seconds of season 2. Meanwhile, those of you who really are here for silly comedy first and foremost will be here for Bill Hader as the new Captain!

There are so many reasons why you have to love Hader appearing on this show. First and foremost, he’s just awesome, and you really do want him around for as much as humanly possible. Secondly, he’s got that connection to Andy Samberg as “Saturday Night Live” alumni. They both know each other and their respective comedy very well, so there should be some great moments between the two. Even the promo below, where Hader’s character seems to suffer a “heart attack,” is really funny.

For those of you who are worried about what this means for Captain Holt, don’t be: Andre Braugher is not leaving the show. You are even going to see Ray and Gina continue to work on the show until he comes back, which we are assuming will be sooner rather than later.

The final note here in Hader is that while we do love him, we expect this to be short-lived. Heck, his character could die from that heart attack … either way, we haven’t heard anything that indicates that his character will be around for a long stretch of time.
