‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: Jack Coleman hints at another evil corporation

LogoIn one form or another, evil corporations have been at the fabric of the “Heroes” franchise from the very beginning. Noah Bennett a.k.a. HRG was at the center of one in the original show, and for the remake “Heroes: Reborn,” there will be another … but details on it are for the most part scarce.

We know that NBC and executive producer Tim Kring are trying to keep things as hush-hush as possible, and with good reason. This is a show that relies on the surprise, and of giving you that same sort of sense of wonder that you had at times watching the original. Based on what Jack Coleman tells TV Guide about this group (who will be very important to the storyline), it certainly does not sound like they are going to be around for the sake of doing good:

“There is a company, a corporation, a high-tech entity which purports to do good, but maybe doesn’t … And the thing that’s so insidious about it is it’s hard to know when you look at a company what they’re doing, what they’re up to, who they’re in bed with, where they get their resources from. It’s that kind of world where things are not as they appear, and it’s a big powerful company.”

Who knows? By the time we make it to the end of the season, maybe we will get some answers about this group. As a matter of fact, we assume that we probably will. We’ve heard that one of the primary intentions of the new story is to present something that is much more self-contained, and will have a defined beginning, middle, and end.
