‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’: See full cast photo, tribe designation
One of the great things about us now being fully immersed in “Survivor” season is that we can get back now to doing something that we really love: Daily updates on the show! “Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance” premieres on CBS come Wednesday, September 23, and we have right now a first look at the season 30 cast on location, and then also their tribal designation to go along with it.
We should start off here by reminding you that the cast was already confirmed months ago at the “Survivor: Worlds Apart” finale, and the big news right now happens to be the photo above and the tribes. Looking for spotlights? We’re going to dive in-depth into those on a daily basis pretty soon. The link here for now is where you need to go for more news; we’re hoping to create a dedicated “Survivor” page at some point in the near future.
Now, let’s get to the tribes.
Bayon – Joe Anglim, Jeremy Collins, Ciera Eastin, Stephen Fishbach, Tasha Fox, Kimmi Kappenberg, Kass McQuillen, Keith Nale, Monica Padilla, and Andrew Savage.
Takeo – Vytas Baskauskas, Spencer Bledsoe, Terry Deitz, Abi-Maria Gomes, Woo Hwang, Peih-Gee Law, Shirin Oskooi, Jeff Varner, Kelly Wentworth, and Kelly Wiglesworth
Let’s face it here that it is almost impossible to get this done completely fairly, but we feel like the show at least has done the best that they possibly can with these divisions. We worry somewhat that Joe and Jeremy will be just physical monsters that lead their tribe to a complete decimation, especially since they’ve got puzzle-masters like Stephen and Kass on there, as well. Still, at least the show found a way to separate people who superficially would look like allies. Joe and Shirin are not together, Tasha and Spencer were split up, and you’re not putting Ciera and Vytas on the same tribe.
Overall, a pretty good setup. We’ll just have to see what happens from here.
