‘The X-Files’ spoilers: ‘Chuck’ alum Vik Sahay to guest

Any chance that we have to discuss a former “Chuck” star appearing on a new show is a chance that we are going to take. It remains one of our favorite shows of all time, and we probably do not have to stress too much here how thrilled we are to see someone from this show coming onto “The X-Files.”

Specifically within this article, we are talking about none other than Vik Sahay! The actor himself tweeted that he will be making an appearance on the upcoming six-episode revival, though specific news about his cameo is not entirely clear just yet. We do like the fact that every single person who appears gets a welcome binder, since that’s the sort of thing that we would probably hang on a wall and take a look at for pretty much all eternity.

At the moment, the guest cast for this series is very much robust. Sahay is joining such other names as Joel McHale and Kumail Nanjiani, and we know that there are several returning guest stars (including Scully’s mother) who will be turning up, as well. Fox is already heavily promoting the revival, which is going to premiere following the NFC Championship Game in January.

As for “Chuck,” we’re going to be holding out hope for a revival of that, as well. Maybe someday! We know it had a proper series finale, but that’s not stopping us from wanting more…
