‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: Do Joe Bailey, Samantha Steffen have history together?
We definitely know that “Bachelor in Paradise” (or really anything with “The Bachelor,” for that matter) loves to have a scandal associated with the show, and they could have that on the second episode coming up this week on Monday … though to be fair, we really don’t know if this is anywhere near as big of a deal as the show is making it out to be.
Has Joe Bailey done some terribly things to Juelia Kinney this season? Sure, and that is really more of what we’re upset about as someone watching the show. We really could care less as to whether or not Joe and his current fascination Samantha Steffen (who is appearing for the first time on Sunday) have some sort of history communicating with each other before the show. Maybe this is some sort of unwritten rule for Paradise, but in life if you’re interested in someone, aren’t you going to try and get to know them?
Anyway, the synopsis below suggests that Joe and Samantha have not been altogether forthcoming when it comes to the time that they’ve spent together before coming out for the show.
“…Rumors about this new couple [Joe and Samantha] begin to swirl amongst the group when Tanner reveals to his buddy Jared that the villainous Joe and Samantha have more of a history than they’re admitting. When the guys confront them, they’re met with resistance and more lies, spurring the partners in crime to hatch a new plan to keep their stories straight.”
Personally, we’re all for the “Bachelor in Paradise” buddy-cop spin-off that focuses on Tanner and Jared trying to solve various mysteries associated with the franchise, such as why the roses always look so good or who who to clean the mansion when all of the men and women leave every season.
