‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Talking Thea, the Lazarus Pits, and consequences

Speedy

Have we really seen a new Thea Queen since she emerged from the Lazarus Pits? This is something that was hyped up around the time Oliver Queen worked to revive her on “Arrow” last season, but for the most part we’d say that she was not that different once she got her memory back.

With that being said, though, we only saw her for so long. It looks as though there is going to be a little more variance coming in the fourth season; while executive producer Marc Guggenheim would not confirm specifically to Comic Book Resources just how Thea will be different, he made it clear that the after-effects from Thea being thrown in there will make themselves very clear:

“We’re really getting into that in the first half of the year. We’re going to face it head on, and you’re going to see it very directly. And it’s become an important story point as we move forward. And then the explanation of why we haven’t seen anything since 3.20 until Season Four will also be explained.”

Given that “Arrow” is jumping forward a stretch of time between seasons 3 and 4, some other characters may have picked up on some of those differences while Oliver is away with Felicity on his travels. She will be donning her Speedy / Red Arrow costume and fighting crime, and with the help of Black Canary working to keep the city safe. Just that alone transforms her into a very different person than who we remember from the earlier run of the show.

Also, we imagine that Thea’s after-effects are going to differ drastically from Sara Lance’s, whose revival is going to necessitate the arrival of John Constantine into this world.
