‘Chasing Life’ season 2, episode 6 reaction: Did April and Leo actually get married?

For those of you who enjoy a little bit of romance on “Chasing Life,” we imagine that tonight’s episode did not disappoint. It had romance, drama, pain, but also hope by the time we got around to the very end.

Let’s start here with what is the best news for April: She is a married woman now! Sure, the wedding did not exactly happen in the way in which she thought that it would, but she can at least say that it happened. After collapsing literally on her way to the altar, she and Leo tied the knot in a ceremony at the hospital, with her grandmother serving as the officiant after seemingly getting a quickie certificate online. She really pushed too hard to make the wedding happen, but they did not want to wait anymore! This was very much a sweet moment, and a different sort of TV wedding.

In the process of all this, there were also two other important scenes.

1. Closure with Dominic? – April and Dom had one of their most honest chats that they’ve have in some time, where she understood how the wedding could be difficult; yet, he still wanted to be there for him, and while he and Leo are probably never going to be pals, they at least don’t have to be mortal enemies.

2. Leo took the job – Therefore, his future is much more stable than it was going to be otherwise! This may help this young couple as they start to push forward in the world.
