‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 10 ratings: ‘And the Woman Clothed in Sun’ steady

HannibalThere are not exactly a whole lot of things that we can sat right now about “Hannibal” and its ratings that can be considered positive, but we will at least offer you something in this article that at least from our vantage point that is at least a silver lining: The ratings did not go down once again.

“And the Woman Clothed in Sun” on Saturday drew a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic to go along with just over a million viewers, and that is about what the show has consistently drawn for the Red Dragon saga for the most part. What may make this slightly depressing is with the year-to-year comparison. During season 2 the tenth episode drew a 0.9 rating to go along with 2.2 million viewers. Granted, at that time the show on a Friday night, and also not on during the summer. The best rating that the third season has had so far is the 0.7 for the season premiere.

At this point, the live ratings are just one part of a much larger puzzle that most other executives are probably looking at when probably trying to determine whether or not this is a series worth picking up. This is why nothing will likely happen until after the season is over, and some more digital outlets and other networks can start to examine what the DVR data is like, and see if there is any way to determine just how many viewers are watching the show online.

Regardless of what the numbers are, you can at least count here on continuing to get more news all about the. We reviewed the episode last night, and you can read that and watch our latest podcast here.
