‘Power’ season 2, episode 9 spoilers: Is someone about to die?

When you consider the world that has been established already on “Power,” then you should be very well aware of the fact that there are characters on a knife’s edge, and one wrong move could send them on a downward spiral or even into the ground. Ghost is probably always going to be in danger so long as he is a part of the show, and we do not exactly envision things going any better in the near future for Angela. While she may be a crime-fighter by trade, her actions sometimes have caused things to become much worse.

Then, you have people such as Tommy and Lobos. While they are both alive right now, that does not mean that they will by the time we make it to the end of the season. According to a report from TVLine, at least one major character (it is not necessarily one of the four mentioned here) will die either in Saturday’s episode or the August 15 finale. Harrowing, no?

As for Ghost’s current mental state, co-creator Courtney Kemp Agboh makes it clear to the publication that in order for him to actually do a little bit of good for some, he is probably going to have to hurt others in the process:

“We’ve seen [Ghost] say, ‘I can have my cake and eat it, too.’ In Episode 9, he actually has to prioritize. He has to pick one person over another … He does some really bad things in the service of the good.”

One other thing that we wonder is that if we do get to see Ghost make it to the third season (which seems likely, given that he is the star of the series), what will he have learned from all of this? You would want to hope that he would not be so reckless or so intent on trying to do it all, but if he manages to get away from this personally unharmed, then he become cocky enough to get himself in the same position all over again.
