2015 Teen Choice Awards: ‘Faking It,’ ‘Teen Wolf,’ ‘Chasing Life’ compete for Summer Show honor

The Teen Choice Awards frequently recognize almost anything and everything, and the purpose of the Choice TV Summer Show category is simple: Recognizing programs that weren’t really at the forefront when the first nominations were announced. This is a category this year really represented mostly by two different networks and a mixture of genres. It’s also one that has an incredibly clear favorite when it comes to public support.

There is one incredibly funny thing about the list below: Despite the fact that “Faking It” is actually not premiering until after the Teen Choice Awards air on August 16, it’s still on the list! How does that happen? Hard to really say, since the show has never really been that much of a summer show … though we do like it.

Who will win – “Teen Wolf.” The show has a huge following, it’s won here countless times already, and none of the other shows on this list are frequent winners. While surprises are fun, it is hard to imagine the vote being that close.

Who should win – “Chasing Life” would probably by the most inspiring win, just because we feel like the show has that message of never giving up that is always valuable to hear. With that being said, “Teen Wolf” is having a pretty good season, and while “Faking It” really seems to barely be a “Summer Show” this year, we still like it enough that we’d be more than happy if it won.
