‘UnREAL’ episode 8 preview: Quinn’s wedding pressure; Grace panics

UnREAL -As we start to near the end of “UnREAL” season 1, we are starting to get more and more of a sense of what the end of the “Everlasting” season could entail. We only have a few contestants remaining, and it is very much an interesting group in its own right. For example, you’ve got someone in Anna who has been portrayed as somewhat of a villain on the show, but in real life she is still mourning the death of her father. Meanwhile, another contestant is Faith, who is secretly a lesbian and Adam is just helping her with a cover by keeping her on the show.

Also, we have Grace, who is somehow still on the show despite very little airtime. She is the subject of one of the sneak peeks below, where we actually do learn something new about her: She is claustrophobic … as in really claustrophobic. The idea of having to have some sort of “date” with Adam that involves a cedar bath completely freaks her out. There is an interesting element to her character in that she clearly had a tough childhood, but we don’t know how much we are going to see of that over the whole bikini model angle that the show has pushed.

Is Grace actually the favorite of a certain network executive? It does seem that way based on the other sneak peek from the episode. The network is already looking at potentially having a spin-off show all about Adam and his new bride overseas, and they want to see if they can deliver a wedding at the end of the season.

Here’s the problem: We have yet to get a sense that Adam is really in love with any of these people. He’s probably been emotionally closer to Rachel than any of them. This is something you can read a little bit more about over at the link here.
