‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ episode 6 preview: ‘In the Blind’ challenges Yvonne Strahovski, Wilson Bethel, cast
We’ve seen the characters on “The Astronaut Wives Club” deal with everything from tense political situations to personal allegations about their lives, and next week’s new episode “In the Blind” looks to bring you more of the same. It also gives you a little bit of a further sense of how much some of these astronauts begin to be cherished and looked at for inspiration in other ways … including elections.
Want to get some other insight on what to expect? Then just take a look at the synopsis below:
“Astronaut John Glenn has his sights set on a political career and hits the campaign trail with wife Annie and Rene Carpenter by his side as he runs for the Ohio senate, while Alan Shepherd quietly grapples with a personal matter that could ground his career forever. Meanwhile, Betty Grissom receives an unsettling letter regarding Gus that challenges their marriage.”
We don’t really think it is much of a spoiler to say that Glenn does go on to become a Senator, mostly because we’re talking about real life here and the show is largely based on that. However, there is still going to be plenty of drama in here thanks to the journey.
As for the promo below, let’s just say that it is not exactly long enough to get a real sense of what is going to be taking place in the episode. It does look like there is some significant danger ahead, for those of you who like twists and drama should be happy to see that.
