‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 star Liam Cunningham owns Conan O’Brien in hilarious fashion

Davos -

Conan O’Brien has been doing his TBS late-night talk show from San Diego Comic-Con for the entire weekend, but interestingly one of the most interesting highlights to come from it is something that didn’t happen. He featured a variety of the “Game of Thrones” cast members from the panel discussion on his show, and every single one of them got a question other than Liam Cunningham, who plays the extremely loyal Davos on the series.

Well, there was some outcry for the underrated Cunningham after this, which led to Conan inviting him back … and consequently a really funny gag. Conan opens up the video below by apologizing, saying that he “felt bad” that he did not get a chance to ask him a question. Therefore, he invites the actor out and asks him a question that he’s tackled a hundred times since season 5 ended: Whether or not he will have a harsh reaction to Melisandre over all she has done. The moment this question is lobbed in the air, you probably know what is coming.

We won’t spoil the “answer” to this question, but it’s pretty funny, and proves that Cunningham is a rather good sport about what happens when you are a part of an enormous cast and not necessarily one of the standout characters.

Of course, the real answer to what Davos will do next is “nobody knows” … at least other than the showrunners and writers. There’s no evidence from the George R.R. Martin book series left as to what is going to happen next.
