2015 Miss USA: Watch the official live stream for pageant here!
There are a variety of different ways in which you can watch the 2015 Miss USA Pageant tonight, and one of them does not even involve you having Reelz Channel. Starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time (or 5:00 p.m. Pacific), you can stream the entire event below!
This event is something very different from past pageants that have been held, if for no other reason than that this may be the most eventful one that we have seen to date for reasons that have nothing to do with the women competing. It’s all about Donald Trump. NBC originally was set to air the pageant, but they dropped it after his comments against Mexican immigrants. Univision did the same for the Spanish-language broadcast, and the on-air personalities for both networks dropped out.
Reelz Channel eventually did pick the pageant up, and recently hired new hosts for the event to go along with it. Their argument in airing the pageant has been that them opting to do this is in no way a reflection on Trump’s comments, and they are definitely not endorsing them. Instead, this has been a platform for them to continue this tradition … though we’re sure that getting big ratings for them also has something to do with this.
What is curious to us about tonight’s event is seeing if Trump is going to be in one way or another mentioned during the pageant. The organizers of the event have really focused on keeping things within the organization this year. The entire panel of judges has pageant experience already through the organization, and we honestly wouldn’t be shocked if he was not mentioned at all. They are probably going to try to distance themselves and make this about the contestants. This is what the Miss Universe organization has been doing for the past week.
