‘Arrested Development’ season 5: Will Buster go too far?

While we have absolutely no clue when or even if “Arrested Development” season 4 will come out, there is at least one thing that we are rather happy with at the moment: We know what one of the storylines would be.

While speaking to TVLine at Comic-Con as a part of the promotional tour for “Archer,” Jessica Walter (who plays Lucille Bluth on the Netflix comedy sensation) said that one of the stories, per a conversation with show creator Mitch Hurwitz, would be finding out what happens after Buster Bluth is arrested for the death of Lucille 2, played on the show by Liza Minnelli.

To us, this sounds hysterical, but the majority of the show does. We do feel like there is no way to feature all of the cast in every episode, especially with Will Arnett developing a new comedy for Netflix, Portia de Rossi having a new gig on “Scandal,” and in general with other cast members having a variety of other jobs. Heck, Jeffrey Tambor is an Emmy favorite for “Transparent,” which airs on streaming rival Amazon.

However, we do figure that this is something that could be set up to be filming in the spring of next year, when we feel like at least some of them could be available. We’re not sure how the series would be set up, but we imagine that it will not be the same as season 4’s entire setup for the Cinco de Cuatro event. Funny as that was, you gotta change it up!
