‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, and ‘Digestivo’ drama

Hannibal -Thursday night’s new “Hannibal” helped to set up the beginning of the end for the story arc in Italy, and next week on “Digestivo,” this portion of the story is going to be over … leading of course to the arrival of the “Red Dragon” arc.

So what are we going to see in this episode? Specifically, we would say to anticipate a showdown of sorts between Chiyoh, Lecter, Will, and Mason taking place back at Mason’s farm, and we imagine that some significant blood will be shed here. While the synopsis below may not be the most revealing in the world, it tells us just about everything that we need to know in terms of major events and then some. Now you just have to wait and see how this insane story is going to come to a close:

“Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) are delivered to Muskrat Farm to await Mason’s (guest star Joe Anderson) revenge. Alana (Caroline Dhavernas), distressed that Will has been endangered along with Hannibal, plots a rescue. And Hannibal, once again in contact with his old patient Margot (guest star Katharine Isabelle), finds it irresistible to remind her that Mason will never make good on his promises. Meanwhile, Jack (Laurence Fishburne) informs Chiyoh (Tao Okamoto) of Hannibal’s location.”

We would not be stunned to see one or two characters in here not make it out alive, especially when you consider the massive time jump that is coming before we get to the “Red Dragon” story. It is somewhat unrealistic, after all, to think that all of these people would still be around.
