‘Criminal Minds’ season 11: Shemar Moore, cast return to cast!

Great news for all those who love “Criminal Minds“: The gang is officially back together! We posted recently that the cast and crew would be getting back in the same vicinity this week to start work on the 11th season, and that is confirmed further with the news today that the first table read has taken place! The photo below from the production office serves as your proof. You can specifically see the names of Shemar Moore and Joe Mantegna.

While the cast has been away, quite a bit has changed when it comes to the series. For one, Jennifer Love Hewitt is no longer in the cast, Aisha Tyler is set to recur heavily, and AJ Cook is going to be on maternity leave for a big part of the season. This means that things for a little while are going to be rather different for at least a little while.

The new season of the show is going to be premiering come September 30, and suffice it to say, you could see quite a bit of drama over the course of the year. Unfortunately, we are still so early in the process that it is hard to say a whole lot in terms of what to expect story-wise. We just hope for some more surprises, and huge challenges for the BAU to solve. After a decade on the job, the majority of these people have figured out how to solve the vast majority of everyday problems.
