‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The Veto Ceremony; Steve and Da’Vonne’s chat

Steve -We told you earlier today that the “Big Brother 17” Veto Ceremony this afternoon was probably going to be a yawner, and now it has officially come and gone without really a whole lot of drama.

As expected, Head of Household Shelli nominated Meg after Johnny Mac used the Power of Veto on himself, which means that Da’Vonne is almost surely going home. These two nominees are a part of the same alliance, and even close Da’Vonne allies like Jason realize that they really just have to let her go, and there is probably not going to be a way to save her … though we feel like there are still two different ways that it could happen.

1. Day herself makes a move. She had a long conversation with Steve after the Veto Ceremony, one she she accused him more of siding with Audrey (he denied), but also one where she acted like she is not going to fight. She still has a chance! Her argument needs to be that she will be the big target and help you get rid of big players like an Audrey, a Clay, or a Shelli. She needs to present an alternative to Meg, who is fine with just being under the radar until around the final seven or so.

2. The BB Takeover. If she can answer the phone at the right time, Da’Vonne can take three votes completely off the tally. In turn, this means that she would only need five votes to keep herself safe for the week. That could be possible with the right deal.

Let’s hope that she comes to life more once the devastation starts to wear off.
