‘Falling Skies’ season 5 spoilers: One last (and rather gross) tease before premiere

On Sunday night, fans of TNT’s “Falling Skies” can commence rejoicing: The show that you love so much is returning! Hopefully there are going to be quite a few stories that live up to the anticipation, especially when it comes to wherever in the world Tom currently finds himself. By and large, that is the biggest cliffhanger that the series is giving us.

We know that you are going to get some answers sooner rather than later when it comes to the Tom mystery, so don’t have too many concerns going into the premiere when it comes to that. There are going to be some very serious moments overall throughout the final season, which makes some sense given that these people are making a last-ditch effort to save themselves and all of humanity from the invasion. Shouldn’t there be at least a little bit of room for some lighter moments in there somewhere? We like to think so, which is why we are happy to bring you a tiny bit of scoop on an unexpected topic.

Per a report from Entertainment Weekly, the 2nd Mass is going to become so desperate for nourishment at some point during the second episode that they are going to actually try to cook a skitter. As a result of this … well, let’s just say that it doesn’t end well.

On the serious side of things once again, there will be some tension between Tom and some of the other characters on the show; while they have done a good job trying to trust him over the years, it is going to become difficult to do so as everyone has their own ideas as to the best option for survival.
