‘Under the Dome’ season 3, episode 3 preview: Big Jim’s trust issues

We are already two episodes into the third season of “Under the Dome” on CBS, and there is one thing that we can say about the series already: It has certainly played up the shock factor so far, and we do not anticipate that this is going to change anytime soon. The residents of Chester’s Mill are only going to see more and more hardship and mystery, and we cannot imagine (at least in the near future) that happy times are ahead.

Next week’s episode following the two-hour premiere is entitled “Redux,” and maybe in some ways there will be resetting for some of your favorite characters. However, at the same time there are others who are not going to be able to find a new normal. For example, Big Jim’s been burned a few too many times now to trust complete strangers, and that is something that we see in the episode’s synopsis below:

“The residents of Chester’s Mill try to move on with their lives in the aftermath of their mysterious experience in the tunnels beneath town. Meanwhile, Big Jim suspects new residents Christine (Marg Helgenberger) and Eva (Kylie Bunbury) are keeping secrets concerning the Dome.”

As for the promo below, it merely promises answers in about the most dramatic way in which any promo possibly can. We’re not sure that any of them are coming anytime soon, but the producers likely know at this point that this is a make-it-or-break-it season. The ratings are down, and the show has to find a way to deliver and keep the viewers that they have.

What do you want to see coming up on “Under the Dome” next week? Let us know some of the theories that you have below!
