We’re made it now to our final “Big Brother” cast spotlight article of the season, or at least so we think given that there could still be theoretically two more players introduced this season.
When it comes to Jason Roy, we are somewhat divided. We’re glad that he is on the show, given that he seems to be a pretty huge fan and he will probably cherish this so much more than some random person pulled out of a bar. However, we’re not entirely sure that he has the right strategic mindset entering the game, and he could be very grating in short amount of time depending on how he chooses to implement what he wants to accomplish.
First impression – Jason stocks groceries overnight, and he has a pretty good story thanks to such humble beginnings. Granted, the irony here is that he may get the same treatment that Donny and McCrae got with their jobs on the show, where they think that there is more to him. He’s very smart, he is not afraid to scheme, and if he can convince everyone that he is a really great guy who can be trusted like a Dan or an Andy, then he can start making moves.
Worst impression – We’re not big on his idea of being the guy in an all-girl alliance, since that will make him an obvious boot once many other guys are gone. Also, we don’t think you should plan on something this specific. What if you gel better with the men than the women? There are just so many variables here, and we worry that he is going to have a hard time keeping his scheming at bay.
Ultimately, we don’t see Jason winning. Heck, we could see him go home really early if he ticks off the wrong person.
