‘Fargo’ season 2 gets teaser video, September premiere date
We have nothing but the fondest of memories for FX’s “Fargo.” The first season of the show was tremendous, and ever since it ended, we have been clamoring to see what would happen next. This is the subject of the show’s second season, and there is a picturesque new teaser for you worth checking out below.
Granted, there is almost nothing about this promo that is informative content-wise, but we do enjoy the wintry color palette very much. There are few other shows like this save for some occasional segments on “Game of Thrones.”
If you did not know about the basic premise of season 2, what we can tell you for the time being is that the focus is going to be on Lou Solverson, the father of Molly played by Keith Carradine in the first season. This takes place many years beforehand, and focuses on a case that was one of the most devastating that he ever encountered. Among the cast members this season are Patrick Wilson, Nick Offerman, and Kirsten Dunst.
The most revealing thing about this trailer is ultimately the September premiere date. Our question is where it will air, given that Kurt Sutter’s “The Bastard Executioner” may come on Tuesdays while Wednesdays will be reserved for “American Horror Story.” Could FX double-up on shows on a given night, or place something on Sundays? They have shown with “The Strain” that this can be an effective timslot, even if they will have to compete against NFL football in the fall.
