‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Meghan King Edmonds’ decorating debate
When Monday night’s new episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” comes on the air, we are going to see a variety of different situations unfold. Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney are going to spend a good bit of time working through some of their past issues, but we are also going to have a much larger introduction to new cast member Meghan King Edmonds than we have had to date.
What the show does really well in this preview is continue to give you a good introduction as to who Meghan is in a short amount of time. She’s already gone through divorce, her former MLB star husband Jim Edmonds has been through two, and there are some tensions in their relationship that they still have to deal with. For example, one issue that Meghan has is that for the time being, many of their furnishings in their home still remind her very much of Jim’s most-recent ex, and she wants their place to have an identity that is more about just the two of them.
Another source of tension? The sole fact that they really do not get to spend that much time together, as Jim spends a good half of his time in St. Louis, where he does a wide array of work. This means that she has to get adjusted to life as a newly-married woman without her husband around.
While the two do seem to be handling it all well for the time being, she does say that it would be more or less naive of her to assume everything will work out.
