‘Under the Dome’ season 3 spoilers: Former ‘ER’ actors collide

The third season of “Under the Dome” is coming on CBS a little later in the month, and slowly and surely some more casting information is starting to get out.

Today, that means that we are getting some scoop on a miniature version of an “ER” reunion! According to Entertainment Weekly, Paul McCrane is set to appear on at least one upcoming episode as an extremely intelligent scientist by the name of Danville. He is in part responsible for starting up the powerful energy company Aktaion, which is going to be a key part of the story coming up in one form or another. He will be doing with his best friend Hektor Martin, who is being played by fellow “ER” graduate Eriq La Salle.

What is reportedly important about Danville, at least right now, is that he is not one of those guys who is in the business of doing this strictly for the money. He wanted to make a new, cleaner energy company just so that he could try to make the world a better place. Unfortunately, guys like this sometimes do tend to not get what they want, so it will be interesting to see how the show handles this.

Also, remember here that almost anything can happen on this show, where you have a dome that seems to be dictating the fate of almost everyone. That’s not going anywhere in the near future.

 

The new season of “Under the Dome” shall arrive June 25, and as we get a little bit closer to that, we imagine that some more news will start to arrive.
