‘Under the Dome’ season 3 spoilers: First details from two-hour premiere
Are you ready and excited to see the future of “Under the Dome” on CBS? Then we come bearing some great news today! The network has released some of the first details from the first two episodes, which carry with them the titles of “Move On” and “But I’m Not.” They may not be the most revealing names in the world, but we’re okay with that given the sort of information that the show is giving us. Just take a look at the lengthy synopsis below for some further evidence of that:
“The residents of Chester’s Mill appear both inside and outside the Dome following their mysterious encounter in the tunnels beneath the town. As the Dome begins to reveal its ultimate agenda, the townspeople are forced to question what and whom they can trust as fresh threats appear, new residents emerge and surprising alliances form, on the two-hour third season premiere of UNDER THE DOME, Thursday, June 25 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Emmy Award winner Marg Helgenberger guest stars as Christine Price, a Chester’s Mill resident with insight into the Dome’s origins. Eriq La Salle guest stars as Hektor Martin, the ruthless CEO of the energy company run by Barbie’s father.”
If there is one simple thing that we find ourselves hoping above all else, it is that these two episodes really set in motion something that is consistent throughout the entire season. We know that it has been uneasy at times to dogpile the show for some of its flaws, but there is great potential here! The issue is that sometimes there are some little things here and there (cheesy subplots, unanswered questions) that do tend to get in the way or making this the show that it was in the first half of season 1.
Thursday nights will bring a whole new challenge for the series, and one of the things that we are particularly excited to see is just what ends up happening with the series ratings-wise. You better believe that we’re going to have some more information all about that as we get further along in the year.
