‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: At least one Petrelli will be coming back

Heroes -While we know already that we are not going to be seeing Milo Ventimiglia at some point during “Heroes: Reborn,” isn’t it good to know that we are at least going to be seeing one member of the Petrelli family? We like to this so.

With that in mind, we are pleased to now report via E! News that Cristine Rose is going to reprise her role as Peter’s mother Angela Petrelli on at least one episode of the NBC revival. She was a bit of a dream weaver, at least in that she can go into the dreams of other people, and also see some of the past and future herself. It’s an interesting power, and we do very much enjoy seeing from time to time some of the more cerebral ones in action.

At this point, it does feel like a very good chunk of the original cast is coming back, including Masi Oka, Greg Grunberg, Jack Coleman, Jimmy-Jean Louis, and several more. The big omissions are for the most part Milo, Hayden Panettiere (who is very busy with “Nashville” / pregnancy), and Zachary Quinto; sure, there are others, but these are the three that to us are going to generate the most conversation in the weeks ahead.

While there has not been an official announcement yet from NBC when it comes to a premiere date, it will be on Thursday nights this fall. It’s going to have a few weeks with football as a primary competitor, but then after that, it will be in competition with “The Big Bang Theory.”
