CBS fall premiere dates: ‘Supergirl’ premieres after ‘The Big Bang Theory’; also, ‘Big Brother 17’ finale date

For the most part, CBS’ just-released fall schedule (including premiere dates) should not come as too big of a surprise. This is a network that has been able to ear its “most-watched” crown for many years, and they clearly know what works. If it’s not broke, why try to even fix it? The majority of their programming once again starts in late September.

Before presenting the schedule to you in full, though, there are at least a couple of things worth noting here. First and foremost, Thursday Night Football over on CBS is going to continue to make its presence felt through at least the first several weeks of the season, and due to that “The Big Bang Theory” and new comedy “Life in Pieces” will spend a few weeks on Monday nights. Also, “Supergirl” is going to get a chance to premiere right after “The Big Bang Theory,” and will therefore take advantage of that lead-in. Take a look at all of the dates below.
