‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: New promo features further Louis, Donna, Harvey drama

One of the greatest things about Louis Litt on “Suits” is the man has almost no filter at all. You always know where you stand with him, mostly because the guy tells you regardless of whether or not the other characters want to hear about it.

This seems to be the crux of what happens in the latest promo for the show’s upcoming fifth season, which premieres on Wednesday, June 24. For the first time, you have a chance here to see Louis react now to having more or less everything that he could possibly want. He finally has Donna working with him, and to go along with that, he is also name partner. What has Harvey Specter lost as a result of this? He has to share his name on the wall with someone he has a contentious relationship, and there’s also the issue of how close he and Donna were at one point.

The good news about “Suits,” however, is that this is very much a fluid world. Therefore, there is no guarantee that what is constant now will necessarily be constant a little ways down the road. There is still a chance for Harvey and Donna to find some sort of happiness together, but it may take a little bit of time. It may also take Harvey actually starting to acknowledging many of his flaws, and finding a way to express himself like he has failed to do so to date.
