‘Shark Tank’ revisited: Hoppy Paws, Q-Flex, Eve Drop, Mensch on a Bench

The latest -We’re going to be doing these “Shark Tank” revisited articles every week until the series returns to ABC this fall, but we have to admit that this one in particular feels strange. After all, at the moment the network is planning on re-airing tonight the holiday episode, which features for the most part seasonal products. Many businesses get a chance to really get a significant boost in sales courtesy of repeats, but we’re not entirely sure that will happen here for a good three-quarters of the products featured.

Even with that being said, we’ve went ahead and included links to every product below to go along with some brief impressions on where the businesses are now with the initial help from the show.

Mensch on a Bench – Is it still a cute product? Sure, and sales during the holiday season were probably solid. Still, it’s not something that is going to be bringing in a whole lot of cash this time of year, and it still has a very niche audience given that you need to be a Jewish family (for the most part) who is looking for some new tradition every Hanukkah.

Eve Drop – Probably the hardest product of the night to sell, mostly because it’s an add-on to Christmas lights, even if there are probably some out there who don’t want to have to take down and put up lights every year. They are still seemingly going strong, but we’re not entirely sure that anyone will be thinking of lights in early June.

Q-Flex Acupuncture – There was actually an update segment on the show already about this, showing that the business has come a long way since starting out extremely small. We actually feel like they are even more prepared to handle the rush of business now than when their first episode aired. Also, they are probably guaranteed to get more repeat traffic than any other product featured Friday (thank the scheduling for that).

Hoppy Paws – Still a very cute business. We’re thrilled to see that things still seem to be going well, they are preparing for the show tonight, and they’ve continued to branch out with some other footprint molds that you can use to decorate, including at Halloween, Easter, and other holidays. It’s not something you’re ever going to need, but it’s at least fun!
