‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 video: Austin Basis on JT’s stunning survival

Great next for all fans of “Beauty and the Beast“: Next week, the show officially returns to The CW with new episodes! There are a variety of different stories that are set to be told, whether you are talking about Catherine and Vincent’s relationship or what causes Heather to be a more permanent fixture in their lives after popping in sporadically last season.

When it comes to the character of JT, though, we may be facing one of the most enigmatic seasons yet. The good news for him is that he is alive; however, how is he alive? What was he injected with? This is a guy in need of answers, and for the time being he is not getting them.

In the video below, Austin Basis lays out a little bit of the picture for his character on the upcoming season, specifically when it comes to his character’s confusion, frustration, and paranoia. It’s understandable that Tess wants him to go out there and enjoy life, but you get this sense that JT is waiting for another shoe to drop that is something dark and menacing. Whether or not it does, or if this paranoia is all a product of his imagination, remains to be seen.

Above all else, just be sure to smile over the fact that everyone seems to be having their own dedicated story going into season 3, and that means that a variety of different story possibilities away the show’s producers. We will of course have more to share as time passes.
