‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: More on Catherine, Vincent’s challenges ahead

Fans of Cat and Vincent on “Beauty and the Beast,” rejoice! While it doesn’t seem as though there is anything to worry about when it comes to whether or not the couple will stay together this season, that also does not mean that they will avoid problems. This is a show that is about more than stopping bad beasts and other people with potential powers out there; it’s also a story about how two very unlikely people managed to get together, fall in love, and make a relationship work. This is not always going to be easy.

In touching on that further, executive producer Brad Kern teases the following in a new interview with TV Guide:

“The engagement period which will run through season 3 will show that this wonderful romance still needs to grow there’s a difference between being engaged and being married and there are real world and real couple issues.”

As for some of the other super-powered characters we talked about earlier come about, Kern also has a little bit more information to share in that regard:

“We will discover there are innocent [people] being experimented upon to see how far the human being can evolve, how they’ll react as far as speed, thinking, agility, jumping, strength — what would a human look like in 10,000 years.”

This new season will officially premiere on The CW come a week from Thursday, meaning that you are not going to have to wait an extremely long period of time to figure out how everything in terms of relationship challenges or superhuman characters moving forward is going to come about.
