‘Royal Pains’ season 7, episode 1 preview: First details on premiere ‘Rebound’

Fans of “Royal Pains” and HankMed, the waiting is almost over! Tuesday night marks the season 7 premiere of the show, and the chance to see some potentially-large changes in the lives of all of your favorite Hamptons residents. “Rebound” is the title for the episode, and it looks like you are going to get a little bit of everything when it comes to the story.

As the synopsis below reveals, we are going to see Evan and Paige deal with a significant surprise, while Hank decides that he wants to try to make a big move that is intentional and well-planned. Meanwhile, it appears that Divya is going to have some sort of story of her own:

“Hank helps a TV host who is off her game and takes a big step in his personal life. When Evan and Paige buy a new home and get some unexpected news, they learn the next chapter in their lives will be filled with ups and downs. Divya gets more than she bargained for when she saves the life of a young skateboarder on the street, and Boris offers Evan an exciting career opportunity.”

Clearly, there is going to be a lot going on in the first episode, but given that there are only eight episodes coming up this summer, the show may need to make a few little pacing changes in order to include everything that it wants to before coming to a close for the year. It has already been renewed for an eight season, but it will not air until next summer.
