‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: ‘The Last Ship’ actor stuck between Harvey and Louis

While “Suits” may not premiere on USA until Wednesday, June 24, why wait at all to get some news when it comes to who could be appearing? That is what this particular article is all about.

As first reported by Deadline, John Pyper-Ferguson of “The Last Ship” is set to recur heavily over the course of the show’s fifth season, and he will be playing a part in Jack Soloff who will find himself in a very difficult spot: Stuck right between Harvey Specter and Louis Litt, who are going to be most likely at war after Donna chose to leave Harvey in order to work with the newly-minted partner at Pearson Specter Litt. Jack also happens to be leading off the firm’s Compensation Committee, so he has a nice professional title to go along with some of these character clashes.

Even though not much may be known at the moment in regards to this role or the season, “Suits” has to be a pretty primo gig for any actor out there. It is a strong, character-driven drama with sharp dialogue. Plus, they let you take the gloves off when it comes to verbal warfare. There aren’t many legal dramas out there like it, mostly because it combines intelligence with character relationships.

The only other thing that we would assume about the new season, at least for the time being, is that there will be some other great stuff coming for Mike and Rachel. These two have just taken their relationship to the next level in the form of an engagement, but at the same time, we cannot escape the feeling that there may still be an uphill battle ahead for them.
