‘Under the Dome’ season 3 spoilers: Boss promises answers to central mysteries, more
Just in case you have been insanely curious about one thing or another when it comes to “Under the Dome,” we come bearing some good news: Answers will be flying at you sooner rather than later in the upcoming third season. While we have a hard time thinking that the show is going to completely disclose all of its secrets (that is far from its style), executive producer Neal Baer is promising that there is in fact going to be at least a little more information disclosed by the time the CBS series concludes its third season.
According to TVLine, Bauer said that we are finally going to start to understand more of the dome’s origin story, including why it trapped the town of Chester’s Mill in the first place:
“We will tell you why the dome came down and what it’s about … By the end of the season, you’ll know exactly why this happened the way that it happened.”
It’s about time that “Under the Dome” did at least something that was somewhat similar to this, if for no other reason than that the show has been starting to lose a little bit of steam as of late. The ratings were down for the second season, and many felt like the show was dragging its feet in the process. Giving us a few more answers is going to help to keep people talking about the show … though it is still to be seen if that will be enough to make it more commercially viable this year.
