NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale: See Joshua Davis’ ‘The Workingman’s Hymn’ music video!
As we have been saying all night, “The Voice” is doing something special once again for the first part of the finale. They are releasing music videos to accompany every artist who is actually performing on the show. This does take us now to Joshua Davis, and the music video that we have for you below for “The Workingman’s Hymn,” which is the song that he actually created and performed even before the show.
It’s interesting in a way how things come full-circle, since with the production value of the show behind it, this is the best music video of the entire top 4. As a matter of fact, it’s not even close. While current, it still feels a lot like a classic rock hit with a driving melody and really good instrumentation. It feels fully in line with the sort of stuff he should be doing, and it’s catchy! He and Koryn Hawthorne are the only two finalists who really went for something upbeat with their original songs.
Like Joshua’s song? Then the one thing you gotta do to support him is buy it on iTunes! YouTube viewers are well and good, but sales will help him get the title, and at the moment, this is a guy who is very much still an underdog. Sawyer Fredericks is far and away the favorite, and Meghan Linsey is in second place after that when considering past sales.
One night can change everything, though, so we will have to see ultimately what happens here.

Fantastic song and performance by Joshua Davis. His was the best “original” song of the finale. Go Joshua!
