NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale: See Koryn Hawthorne’s ‘Bright Fire’ music video

Tonight, “The Voice” is doing so much more than just presenting the finale for the season: They’re also releasing music videos! We’ve been sharing them all night long, and the last one that we have here is Koryn Hawthorne and her official clip now for “Bright Fire.”

First of all, we have to shake our head a little bit at the title, since it is corny and tells us very little about the actual content of the song. From there, let’s talk a little bit about the song itself: It’s not bad! This is the sort of thing that we imagine that Koryn would be performing at some point in her career, since it sounds a little bit like a twist on a Beyonce song.

Going into the finale, Koryn does have a little bit of momentum. She’s very young like Sawyer Fredericks, and with that comes all sorts of potential for her to grow and become an even better singer and performer down the road. She’s also gotten better and better even as some time has gone by in the competition, which is why she is here in the first place.

Do we think that Koryn is going to win? It’s going to be tough, given that everyone else remaining has scored higher on the iTunes charts as of late. With that said, it’s far from impossible, and the biggest thing that she should be proud of is delivering a great video here, and also performing some very challenging songs almost every week.
