NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale: See Sawyer Fredericks’ ‘Please’ music video

Sawyer -Tonight, the remaining contestants on “The Voice” are getting to do more than just perform. Like with last year, they are also releasing music videos to go along with all of their original songs!

We begin below with the video for “Please,” which is the original song from this season’s frontrunner in Sawyer Fredericks. It is a song that does bring a lot of his signature style and soul to the table, and it also has a deep history in music already. As we mentioned earlier today, this is a cover of a Ray LaMontagne original song that just so happens to be unreleased. Basically, Sawyer is getting to recreate something originally intended to be for a singer he has covered already on the show.

We’re not going to tell you that the video for this song is going to completely reinvent anything for you, since it is a pretty straightforward re-creation. However, at the same time it’s much of what you want from Sawyer. His voice is powerful, you get into the story of the song, and it has a distinct folksy vibe to it. This is probably the sort of video that his fans should eat up, and it could increase the sales of the song more than ever.

Remember that at this point in the competition, sales really do matter more than anything else. iTunes will be one of the major dictating factors in who ends up winning the whole season courtesy of multipliers and all of that.
